Welcome to the artwork of my whimsical and irreverent view of life events.

The site is slowly developing.  I'll be adding more information about the artwork and the process over time.

The next artwork to be posted will be two Hockey themed prints I'm working on.

Fishing Fiasco

Fishing Fiasco

The big fish attracts too much attention, to the consternation of some and to the delight of others.

This was my first use of the iPad to produce artwork and I liked it. It was nice to not have the angst of dropping colour onto watercolour paper knowing there was only so much I could do to change it. On the other hand just because you can doesn't mean you should. I could have kept changing it forever but you have to stop at some point.

Below is a video of the making of Fishing Fiasco.

It condenses 38 hours of drawing time to 2 minutes.  The iPad tracks the drawing time and the number of drawing strokes but doesn't track the time spent staring at the drawing while I decide what to do next.

It's best viewed at full screen to see the details of the image.
